Family Celebrating

Hogmanay
2022

Due to the current uncertainty around Hogmanay celebrations in Scotland we have made the difficult decision to postpone our annual party to December 2022.

It is with great regret that we need to inform you that, unfortunately, our proposed Hogmanay party will not be taking place this year 2021.  We have thought long and hard about this and it is with a heavy heart that we have come to this conclusion.  We very much wanted to put on a party to celebrate going forward, putting COVID relatively behind us and having a semblance of normality return.  We think we are all desperate for that!

We do, however, feel that (based on the direction the country currently seems to be going in and the constant rise in cases) it would be irresponsible of us to do this.  We are concerned at the level of rising cases, of us not being able to guarantee your safety should we put on the event (which is the most important reason for us), and of potential travel and social distancing restrictions being imposed at the last minute.   We feel it is better to make a decision sooner rather than later in order that people can be made aware.

We are deeply sorry for this and very much hope that you would still like to come and stay with us over the festive period.
