The Highland Club

Steeped in History and Nestled in the Heart of the Highlands on the Southern Tip of Loch Ness

A multi-award winning 4 star development of luxury self-catering apartments within the historical walls of the former fort, monastery and abbey of Fort Augustus. The Highland Club Fort Augustus is a beautiful Grade A listed building set on a 20 acre estate surrounded by water and spectacular scenery with uninterrupted views over Loch Ness and edged by the Caledonian Canal.

Often mistaken for a grand hotel, The Highland Club is

actually a collection of private apartments, some of which are managed by us to hotel standards.

Choose one of our exclusive apartments for the ultimate in luxury during your stay in the Scottish Highlands.

4 Star rated, unique and exclusively managed by The Santon Group, who restored Fort Augustus Abbey.

Stay, relax and unwind in your home away from home.

Conveniently located in the centre of the Highlands within easy driving distance of all that the Highlands of Scotland has to offer from climbing Ben Nevis or exploring castles to whisky tours, watching the boats navigate the lock gates of The Caledonian Canal in the village or taking a boat ride out on Loch Ness to say hello to our local (but shy) celebrity Nessie.

We only manage apartments located at The Highland Club and only those that have received a 4 Star Award from Visit Scotland. We are delighted to have been recognised as being a provider of  some of the best self-catering facilities available in the Highlands.

We couldn't do any of this without our wonderful on-site team at Fort Augustus Abbey, committed to making your stay with us as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

From the Children's gift bag, to cots and high chairs, we want all of our guests to enjoy their vacation.

We are delighted that following recent government relaxing of restrictions on hospitality venues the swimming pool and the club lounge are now open but with some limitations on capacity. Notices will be on site advising current rules.

The beautiful countryside and all outdoor facilities are available as normal.
