Where to eat in Fort Augustus when at The Highland Club

Updated: May 7, 2023

Fort Augustus may be relatively small but it has plenty of delicious places for you to grab a bite from pubs to fine dining. For all you culinary fans, we’ve made a list of where to eat in Fort Augustus!

We recommend you check availabilities and opening times during off-peak months and Christmas. All opening times listed may vary.

The Boathouse – ££ – 30 seconds walk from The Highland Club

Lunch from £5.95, Dinner from £11.95

The Boathouse is a unique dining experience as it is the only restaurant on the south shore of Loch Ness, with views that extend half way down the Loch! With traditional pub food, as well as Turkish food, there is something on the menu for everyone. For dessert, we recommend the Chocolate Fudge Cake or the Sticky Toffee Pudding (alternatively, get the Chocolate Fudge Cake there and make your own Sticky Toffee Pudding at home!).

Opening times

11am until 9pm

The kitchen opens at 12pm.
