Club Lounge

The lounge and snooker room can be found at the end of the north cloister in the beautifully restored, timber panelled, former monks' refectory.

It is the perfect place to read, relax or meet fellow guests. There is a full size snooker table, a children's pool table, table football, a games cupboard and comfortable sofas and chairs (many covered in the unique Highland Club tartan).

At one end of the lounge are three long Gothic windows, filled with stained glass under which would have been the Abbot’s table. At the other end is a pulpit jutting out from the wainscot where a chapter from the Holy Scriptures would be read during the monks' meal.

The lounge benefits from free WiFi access so that guests can go online and plan their adventures for the next day.
