British Cycling have now announced the National Downhill series for 2024!
Nevis Range are delighted to be hosting round two UCI C1. The National Downhill will head down the World Cup Downhill track just two weekends after we welcome back the Mountain Bike World Cup to Fort William!

Fort WilliamEVENT TECHNICAL DOCUMENT IS HERE
In an attempt to civilise the Highland population General Wade built a road from Fort William to Inverness some 250 years ago. Later a gondola was added to access the slopes of Aanoch Mor which in turn influenced by a gathering at nearby Glenfinnan the SDA arrived and ‘Raised their Standard’ and so the birth of a once push up track grew into the renowned track of today’s World Cup Circuit. Still the longest most gruelling and best supported.
ENTRY INCLUDES– Saturday and Sunday gondola uplift – Two timed race runs: Fastest one counts for your SDA result. – Marshalls – Live timing – Commentary – Rescue medics – Access to the carpark
EVENT FACILITIES– Gondola – Cafes: one at the top, one at the bottom of the gondola – Bike washing – Showers – Free car parking
