Monster Triathlon 2027

Spanning 7 days the Monster Triathlon is UK's ultimate multi-sport challenge, starting with a 5km swim on Loch Ness.

The Monster returns this year bigger and better than before, with a new and improved route guaranteeing breath-taking scenery and iconic challenges. The Monster Triathlon offers the ultimate epic endurance challenge, returning in June 2027. Your challenge begins when you take on a 5km swim in Loch Ness, before 5 stunning days on the bike and the final push into London – a 50k ultra-marathon.

As you tackle the challenge of the Monster Triathlon you’ll conquer the very best the UK has to offer, from epic mountain passes in the Scottish Highlands to the expansive lakes of the Lake District, from the rolling Chiltern hills to idyllic villages in the midlands before a grand finish in the capital. Our monster challenge will showcase the beauty and diversity of the UK as you take on our 1,055km beast.

All participants will receive a GPS tracker and a jersey as part of their entry, ensuring safety and a sense of team identity throughout the event. With a range of packages available for the full triathlon, as well as swim and run only packages for those wanting to tackle just one leg of the challenge, there is a Monster event for everyone.

Accommodation is available separately at The Highland Club should your family and friends wish to cheer you on at the start on day one.

Day 1:

Starting on the shores of the fabled Loch Ness, home to a mythical monster, you’ll begin your challenge by braving the waters with a 5km swim before tackling a short ride to Fort William, home of the UK’s tallest mountain, Ben Nevis.
