Highland Games are as iconically Scottish as bagpipes, kilts and whisky – all of which feature heavily at any gathering.

The Games are also noted for their unique sporting and athletic events many of which involve throwing and lifting. These include the shot put, tug-o-war, caber toss and hammer throw - collectively known as heavy events.

From traditional competitions — including caber tossing, hammer throw, piping and highland dancing — to bustling stretch tents showcasing the very best of the Highlands food, drinks and local crafts, you’ll be immersed in Scottish tradition.

Catch the awe-inspiring feats of strength and skill, enjoy fantastic live Scottish music, and explore over 20 local food and drink producers. There’s entertainment for all ages with funfair attractions and a family-friendly programme throughout the day.
