SEARCHING FOR “FISH MAN”
Have you been hearing the sounds of mystery bagpipes every Wednesday at about 2pm and wondered what they were for?
Well then let me solve that little mystery for you. Our enterprising fresh fish and shellfish supplier Alistair Allen from the world renowned JPL Shellfish (www.jplshellfish.co.uk) has come up with an ingenuous method of alerting all those at The Highland Club to his Wednesday afternoon arrival. He parks up his van and then pipes a beautiful rendition of “Scotland the Brave” amongst others. It’s a lovely idea and one where we get beautiful fish and great pipework all in one. All the seafood fish is sourced from local boats landing in Scrabster Fishmarket, Caithness, and direct from fishermen all over the far North of Scotland. The range available is fantastic including the much sought after Wild Atlantic Salmon. Treat yourself on a Wednesday to some lovely fish and be rewarded with the sound of piping at The Highland Club. Thanks Alistair…looking forward to next Wednesday!
