The Developer
The Santon Group (formerly known as The Raven Group) is a long established and substantial property development company operating in both the residential and commercial sectors throughout the UK. The Santon Group currently has £600m of fully funded development stock.
The residential arm of The Santon Group is nationally recognised as a specialist developer in the conversion of listed buildings and has won many awards including the What House? Sunday Times Gold Award 1998 for best UK renovation, the Mercedes-Benz Best UK Property 2002 award for the conversion of St Saviour’s Church, London and the Broadland Award 2003 in recognition of the contribution made to the enhancement of the environment for its St Andrew’s Hospital, Norwich conversion.
In particular The Santon Group, has established a niche market in the conversion of large redundant listed hospital buildings which were no longer required by the National Health Service. Santon’s conversion and development skills have also been successfully applied to derelict office buildings, churches, public houses and listed stately homes.
The Santon Group takes great pride in using its considerable expertise to lovingly restore derelict buildings and integrate them back into the local community and The Highland Club is a leading example of this important work.
